Veterinary Assistant

VCA Fairway Animal Hospital? is expanding its team and looking for a Veterinary Assistant !

Compensation : $ 15 - $ 16 / hr

Schedule : FT 4 / 10 hour shifts including weekends

Location : 6000 Mission Road Fairway, KS 66205

We need a seasoned Veterinary Assistant who's knowledge and skills will be utilized to include, but not limited to :

Providing support to the entire veterinary hospital staff

Ensure there is a clean, comfortable environment for patients and clients

Ensuring that treatment areas and exam rooms remain fully stocked

Restrain animals during examinations or vaccinations

Keep accurate records and logs

Sterilize equipment

Observing patients for obvious signs of health concerns and reporting any findings to senior staff
