Shift : Day and Night Shifts (12-hour blocks : 7A-7P, 7P-7A)

About the Opportunity

Beaufort Memorial is excited to expand its Hospital Medicine program in-house and is seeking Board-Certified Hospitalist Physicians to join our collaborative, patient-centered team. Hospitalists at Beaufort Memorial provide comprehensive care to hospitalized patients, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure seamless transitions throughout the inpatient stay and upon discharge.

Highlights include :

• Join a team of Board-Certified Hospitalists and Advanced Practice Providers
• 12-hour shifts (7A-7P or 7P-7A) with dedicated admitter shift 9a-9p
• Average census : 18-20 patients
• Manage acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and complex medical cases
• Diverse case mix across a regional referral center
• 24 / 7 in-house support from Anesthesia and Pediatric Hospitalists
• Trauma surgery available on call
• Access to a wide range of specialists : Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Neurology, ENT, GI, Nephrology, General Surgery, and Vascular Surgery
• Intensivist coverage in-house 7A-7P ; Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider covers ICU at night
• ED physicians respond to hospital airways and codes
• 1099 and Employed options available
