LHH is partnering with a well-established and growing manufacturing company near Chardon, OH, and we're on the hunt for a dynamic, detail-loving Cost Accountant to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Analyzing and reporting on cost variances, inventory, and production costs
  • Partnering with operations to streamline cost controls and improve profitability
  • Assisting with month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Supporting audits and ensuring GAAP compliance
  • Using your Excel and ERP skills to dig deep into data and tell the financial story

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of cost accounting experience (manufacturing preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory accounting, and variance analysis
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  • A collaborative spirit and a can-do attitude
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
