Job Description

Job Title : Construction Manager (Data Center)

Location : Austin, Texas (relocation packages available)

The company

I’m partnering with a leading global AI infrastructure company that designs and builds high-performance GPU data centers powering some of the most advanced AI systems in the world. Their customers include top AI labs, governments, and enterprise innovators — and they’re now expanding their footprint.

We’re seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to lead large-scale, high-density data center builds from the ground up. This role offers significant autonomy, visibility, and the chance to make a direct impact on cutting-edge AI infrastructure projects.

If you’re someone who thrives in fast-paced, technically complex environments and takes pride in owning projects from design through commissioning, this could be your next big move.

The position

  • Oversee full-cycle execution of greenfield and brownfield data center construction projects.
  • Manage contractors, vendors, and trades to ensure delivery on time, on budget, and to spec.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules (Primavera P6 or MS Project).
  • Drive a zero-incident safety culture across all site operations.
  • Coordinate CSA and MEP trades; proactively resolve issues in the field.
  • Track progress, costs, and resources; prepare reports and recovery plans where needed.
  • Oversee QA / QC, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
  • Partner with internal design, procurement, and operations teams for seamless handoffs.
  • Administer construction contracts from award to closeout.

Could this role be for you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • 7+ years managing hyperscale, semiconductor, or mission-critical construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of CSA and MEP construction, procurement, and cost controls.
  • Proven success delivering complex, fast-track builds across multiple locations.
  • OSHA 30 (or equivalent); working knowledge of NFPA 70E, local codes, and permitting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to read BIM / Revit and interpret IFC packages.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% as required.
  • Why apply?

  • Highly competitive total compensation (base + equity).
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Retirement or pension plan (aligned with local standards).
  • Generous PTO policy.
  • Relocation support for qualified candidates moving to Austin.
