Immediately Hiring : Aerospace Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Location : Grand Prairie, TX

Starting Pay : $31.05 / hour

Your day at a glance

You arrive on site, review overnight production notes, and prioritize the maintenance queue. A vibration alert from a hydraulic pump leads your morning—schematics in hand, you diagnose the issue, source a replacement component, and return the line to peak performance. By midday, you’ve coordinated a preventive maintenance window with production, performed lock-out / tag-out, and completed inspections. In the afternoon, you commission a newly installed machine, fabricate a bracket to support a small upgrade, and capture detailed entries in the CMMS before handing off to the next team.

What you’ll own

• Perform scheduled and routine service on industrial machinery and plant equipment.
• Identify and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults; apply strong troubleshooting methods.
• Execute preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
• Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical / hydraulic schematics.
• Coordinate with production to time maintenance with minimal disruption to output.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and equipment status reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, PPE use, and lock-out / tag-out procedures.
• Assist in installing and commissioning new equipment and upgrades.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost equipment reliability and efficiency; support facilities repair initiatives.
• Operate material handling equipment including forklift, scissor lift, and SkyTrac safely and efficiently.
• Perform general facilities maintenance tasks as needed.
• Fabricate parts to support repairs and machine enhancements.
• Keep work areas, including the maintenance shop, organized and clean; communicate clearly with production partners.
