Physician - Emergency Medicine

Job Description

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 4-day assignment in New York, starting May 27, 2026. This opportunity involves providing 12-hour emergency department coverage for both day and night shifts, managing a diverse patient population including pediatrics and adults, and performing essential procedures such as intubations, all supported by advanced practice providers.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 12-hour emergency department coverage for day and night shifts.
• Manage a wide range of pediatric and adult patient cases.
• Perform general emergency procedures, including intubations.
• Collaborate effectively with Advanced Practice Providers.
• Contribute to managing a daily patient census averaging 73 across all shifts and providers.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Internal Medicine-Critical Care Medicine, or Internal Medicine with Focused Practice in Hospital Medicine is required.
• Candidates must be ABEM certified.
• EMR system used: Allscripts.
