Salary :

Location & Travel : Remote, based in the United States. Preference for Eastern or Central Time Zone. Approximately 15% of travel is required.

What Youll Do :

MEMA is seeking a Membership Associate to join our Aftermarket team to support the full life cycle of membership for the organization from recruitment to retention and engagement. This role plays a key part in growing our membership base, strengthening relationships with our current members, and ensuring each member experiences the full value of their membership with MEMA.

The Membership Associate works closely with MEMAs Aftermarket Membership and Council team to deliver an exceptional member experience, contribute to membership goals and revenue growth, and help advance MEMAs mission.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Drive membership growth by identifying, researching, and recruiting new members.
  • Conduct prospecting and outreach to potential members to build interest and demonstrate the value of MEMA membership.
  • Set up and manage new member welcome calls and ensure new members have a positive experience.
  • Support member retention efforts by maintaining strong relationships with current members and identifying opportunities to increase engagement.
  • Meet or exceed annual membership and retention goals in alignment with organizational targets.

What Youll Bring :

  • 2 years of experience working in the automotive aftermarket industry.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Automotive, Aftermarket, or related field.
  • Experience working with aftermarket suppliers or distributors.
  • Exceptional relationship building skills with the ability to establish trust and maintain long term connections with both external members and internal teams.
  • Confidence in engaging prospective members and initiating meaningful relationships
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is a plus.
  • Passion for MEMAs mission to champion our industry and advance the business interests of our supplier members, and our vision of an ever-more successful supplier community and an association that is vital to our members success.
