Business is growing at Bob Thomas Ford. We are looking for a couple of go-getters to add to our sales department immediately. We don't flood the floor. We are looking for long term employees & offering them room to grow.

We believe that being an Automotive Sales Consultant is a true craft, built on the foundations of good relationships, communication skills, and character.

Sales Representatives spend time with customers to determine their needs and discuss vehicle options.

Auto Sales Consultants commit to becoming an auto sales expert and gain in-depth knowledge of Ford vehicles and technology.

Sales Representatives test drive vehicles to demonstrate industry leading features ie. Sync, App Link, & advancing hybrid technology.

Complete quotes and explain financing options.

Follow up with prospective customers.

Follow up with existing customers to confirm their satisfaction and generate leads.

The right candidates must have

2+ years previous commission sales experience

Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a "people person")

Basic computer knowledge

Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills

Must possess the ability to ask for the sale and follow through

Strong retail &/or sales skills

Steady employment history

Valid driver's license with a clean record
