About The Role
Client Specialists are the first line of contact at all Barry's studios. They are well-versed in all aspects of the business, comply with company policies, and help develop lasting client relationships by providing hospitality, assisting with class selections and bookings, keeping the studio clean, handling FuelBar orders, and processing merchandise purchases. Our Client Specialists are clear communicators and positive brand ambassadors who convey memorable experiences for clients. We are looking for passionate, hardworking, reliable, team-oriented problem-solvers with outgoing interpersonal skills, a love for health, and a desire to contribute to the Barry's community. The role includes responsibilities in Front Desk, Facilities & Fuel Bar.
What You'll Do
Front Desk Responsibilities
- Client Experience : Understanding of hospitality principles & processes and the ability to execute as part of the Barry's Client Experience.
- Support the client experience with hospitality and studio amenities to build personalized experiences that positively impact sales and service.
- Be an effective brand ambassador, ensuring clients are warmly welcomed and have a memorable experience consistent with the Barry's brand.
- Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with clients and staff, and sustain them over time.
- Assist clients, building individual connections and providing directions with questions or concerns.
- Communicate with supervisors and peers in a timely and efficient manner (telephone, written, e-mail, text, or in person).
- Deliver a first-class client experience at all times.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere by assisting in studio cleaning, restocking, and upkeep.
- Inform clients about latest studio promotions, membership discounts, and special events.
- Maintain product knowledge for all studio retail operations.
- Participate in relevant training and development programs and meetings as directed by Operations leaders.
- Maintain flexibility with schedule, including weekends, holidays, mornings, or nights, and meet minimum availability requirements.
Fuel Bar Responsibilities
Deliver quality protein smoothies and customer service in the Fuel Bar.Handle pre-orders and on-site orders, customized to each client's needs.Assist clients with questions and product selection.Complete client orders in a timely manner using a POS system.Maintain fuel bar areas clean and sanitized.Follow safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures per health code regulations.Properly rotate merchandise in refrigerated coolers and display areas, monitoring spoilage per policy.Prepare various Fuel Bar items following company recipes.Facility Maintenance
Prepare studio spaces before, after, and between classes by cleaning equipment, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and wiping mirrors.Support cleaning and maintenance of locker rooms to brand standard.Regular deep cleaning and organization of common areas, including lobby, FuelBar, Red Room / Lift / Ride spaces, retail shelves, locker rooms, hallways, and storage areas.Conduct small studio repairs when appropriate.Laundry services including towel collection, washing, and folding.Adhere to daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance checklists.Customer Service
Provide the highest level of hospitality to all clients.Maintain client database and use information to increase client contact.Attend community events to generate new business and invite clients to in-studio events.Qualifications
Strong hospitality skills and alignment with Barry's Mission, Vision and Values.Ability to work either full-time or part-time.Full-time : minimum 30 hours / week with morning, afternoon, evening shifts and at least one weekend day.Part-time : minimum 24 hours / week with shifts totaling mornings, afternoons, evenings and at least one weekend day.Friendly, outgoing personality and enjoyment of social interaction.Enthusiasm for the studio and the job.Patient, courteous listener with empathy.Can-do attitude in responding to client requests.Cooperative team player focused on culture and efficiency.Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Strong cleaning skills and commitment to sanitary standards.Attention to detail and care for the studio's appearance.Professional appearance and behavior; excellent communication skills.Candidates must be at least 18 years old to apply.The Pay Range For This Role Is 17.87 USD per hour (Los Angeles)
