Location : Lansing, MI Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week. MUST be in office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Duration : 12 months contract initially with possibility of ex tension

Job Description

• Looking for an IT professional with strong experience in installation, Configuration, troubleshooting, advance configuration of Jboss application servers both stand alone and clustered environments, Apache Tomcat webserver in Linux operating systems.
• Provide real-time technical support for environments and supported applications and technologies on JBoss Application servers, Apache Tomcat and Red Hat OS
• Strong Experience in Systems and Application administration role, deploying and managing large scale applications into JBOSS application servers is required
• Strong Experience on troubleshooting production and operational issues for middleware technologies like Apache, Tomcat, Jboss application servers.
• Experience working with bash, Shell Scripting, or other Infrastructure Scripts.
• Provide technical support in JBOSS / middleware services including Patching, upgrading, performance tuning and provide production support, etc.
• Minimum five years of experience in the installation and administration of JBoss Middleware Services.
• Strong familiarity with Agile software / tools (e.g., JIRA) and DevOps processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins / Bamboo / Azure DevOps).

Databases : Oracle 19c , MS SQL Server , T-SQL, PL / SQL

Scripting Languages : Mven, Ant, Java Script, Unix Shell Scripting

Tools : JIRA, Jenkins , BitBucket

Web / Application Servers : Tomcat 8.x and JBOSS
