Merit Services is seeking a skilled and innovative Recycling Operations Manager to join our client’s dynamic team in Regina. As the Recycling Operations Manager, your primary duty would be to supervise and enhance our recycling procedures, guaranteeing efficacy and optimizing recycling results.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Create and execute plans aimed at maximizing efficiency in the recycling process, encompassing the gathering, organizing, and treatment of materials suitable for reprocessing.
Oversee and lead a team of recycling technicians and operators by offering direction, education, and assessments of their effectiveness.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary groups to create and execute operational strategies, guaranteeing adherence to regulations and norms of the industry.
Utilize systematic monitoring and analysis of operational performance metrics to pinpoint shortcomings and execute measures for enhancement.
Smartly maintain connections with recycling providers by bargaining for beneficial agreements and ensuring quality and affordable services.

QUALIFICATIONS :

A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or any relevant area at the bachelor’s level is required. Having appropriate certifications provides an added advantage.

Proficient understanding of recycling methodologies, waste handling protocols, and relevant legislation.
