Information Systems Security Analyst (ACL)
About the Role
We are seeking an Information Systems Security Analyst (ACL) to support cybersecurity operations at Ascension Auxiliary Air Field (AAAF). This position is fully on-site due to the classified nature of the systems supported. The Analyst is responsible for implementing, enforcing, and continuously improving cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures for Department of Defense (DoD) information systems.
Responsibilities
- Proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information system security policies, standards and methodologies.
- Performing vulnerability assessments using the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), and the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker, incorporating automated Benchmarks.
- Implementing operating systems and network devices security configuration in accordance with DISA approved Security Technical Implementation Guides.
- Performing security control continuous monitoring, security audits, risk analysis and developing mitigation strategies for DoD information systems.
- Identifying Common Criteria and NIAP certified technologies and the DISA Approved Products List (APL).
- Preparing certification letters and Memoranda of Agreement (MoA) with system owners for interface and networking implementation.

Qualifications
Education : BS in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related area of study.Experience : 3 years of experience as an ISSO / Cybersecurity professional may be considered in lieu of a bachelors degree.3 years Cybersecurity / Information Systems Security experience.3 years performing security control continuous monitoring, security audits, risk analysis and developing mitigation strategies for DoD information systems.3 years Authorizing or accrediting systems utilizing the RMF (Risk Management Framework).Required Skills
