Job description

A law firm seeks an early career attorney in Springfield, MO. The successful candidate will manage a high-volume caseload, engage with clients, and advocate in trials. This role offers a supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Duties

Manage approximately 150 cases, with 50 in active litigation monthly.
Maintain proactive communication with clients throughout the legal process.
Conduct depositions, draft motions, and lead mediations.
Serve as lead counsel in jury trials to secure favorable outcomes.

Requirements

Licensed to practice law; trial advocacy or moot court experience preferred.

Active and in good standing with the local State Bar; multiple state bar admissions preferred.

Exceptional communication skills to articulate case strategies effectively.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Skills

Strong legal acumen and advocacy skills.

Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.

Proficient in client communication and case strategy development.

Dedicated office space with case management support.
