BC in critical care

Daily Patient Volume :

30+ patients in unit with 2 physicians covering during the day (7a-7p), 1 physician covering at night (7p-7a), and a swing shift that runs from 2pm 1am.

Describe the daily shift requirements :

12 hour Productive shift daytime and nighttime coverage (weekend and weekday), swing shift (2p-1a), all coverage needed

List any special certifications or requirements (including special procedures) needed to perform in this position :

None

Practice EMR : Meditech

Census is anywhere from 30-45 per day for 2 physicians during the day and a third swing physician who works from 3p-11p.

ICU - mainly closed but not completely

Need BC in critical care, no specific procedures just typical intensivist procedures
