Boston Children’s Health Physicians (BCHP) and Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital (MFCH) are seeking a full-time Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY. BCHP is affiliated with Boston Children’s Hospital and the Department of Pediatrics at NYMC.
About the division
The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology has a dedicated team of eleven pediatric gastroenterologists providing comprehensive care for gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders. Two of our Division members are hepatologists. We are the major referral center for gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders in the lower Hudson Valley. Our relationship with the many specialists at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital allows us to treat a wide variety of disorders. This includes care for all the common GI disorders as well as a multidisciplinary approach to feeding disorders, intestinal rehabilitation, aerodigestive disorders, and advanced liver disease with liver transplantation and pre- and post-transplant care. The Maria Fareri Children’s hospital provides us with an opportunity to take care of complex patients and their associated gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders.
Services
Services provided include endoscopy, therapeutic endoscopy, esophageal and anorectal manometry, MII-pH studies, capsule endoscopy, and hydrogen breath testing.
Education and affiliation
We have a Pediatric Gastroenterology fellowship program. Our providers participate in education and research with academic affiliation at NYMC.

BCHP also includes a network of 33 pediatric primary care practices serving the Hudson Valley region of NY and Fairfield County, Connecticut. Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, a 150-bed children’s hospital located on the 600-acre Westchester Medical Center campus, includes an 18-bed PICU and a 55-bed NICU. It serves as the regional hub for pediatric care and is home to the WMC Pediatrics Residency and Fellowship Programs.
