Responsibilities :
Consistently maintain good work attendance and productive work ethic.
Qualified to assume the role of Deputy in the absence of the Lab Manager when requested
Technically competent to perform quality review and sign off on Lab Standard calibrations
Primary function : Turn Equipment as assigned by the Service Manager. ( In house & Onsite)
Perform quality calibrations adhering to corporate quality standards and procedures.
Person will be responsible for preparing for all on-sites as assigned by the Service Manager. This includes reviewing equipment lists, procedures, specifications, and ensuring the proper standards are selected for the work assigned.
Person must ensure he / she has calibration stickers, PMD work orders, worksheets, tags, cleaning supplies, directions, customer contact info and survey cards. Downloading customer info to an on-site laptop may be required for some customers.
Person must ensure all company issued tools and property are in proper working order and in calibration.
Person will be expected to generate the certificates of calibration and provide the original data worksheet for final inspection by quality.
All certificates for equipment calibrated on-site and in house shall be completed in a timely manner. (Within 48 hours of job completion.)
Person will be expected to work well with others and be teamed with any other technician and complete an assigned job. Team player attitude is a must.
Person will also be expected to work on his / her own in-house and on-site with minimal supervision.
Person will be responsible for an assigned work bench. This includes the cleaning, organizing, and overall appearance of his / her assigned space.
Perform quality inspection of calibrated equipment as approved by the Quality Manager.
Promote and help grow the service operations of the assigned service site.
Any other duty assigned by the Service Manager that is in the best interest of our customers or as directly by corporate quality requirements.
Ability to train others
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / CERTIFICATION
Minimum 5 years direct Metrology experience
Navy Marine Corp GCAMS / ACTS or AF PMEL
Commercial Process and Manufacturing Calibration
Associates of Science Degree or other technical training preferred
Working knowledge of ISO 17025 and the One Quality System
SKILLS :
Thorough knowledge of calibration policies, procedures, methodologies, and procedure writing skills.
PC / Windows knowledge.
Extensive electronics knowledge.
