We are hiring for a Nocturnist

position. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively

overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal

schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient

care during nighttime hours.

We are seeking  nocturnists to join our

close-knit team of ten physicians and two advanced practice

providers (APPs), supported by a clinical performance nurse at St.

Joseph London.

ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of care.

Qualifications :

Board certification or

eligibility in family or internal medicine.

New graduates are welcome to apply. Completion of training, board

certification, and unrestricted APRN license to be granted before

the start of employment.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage various cases in a

150-bed hospital, focusing on complex cases in a semi-open ICU,

benefiting from round-the-clock intensivist coverage.

Collaborate closely with nursing staff and

engage in key medical staff committees, including the credentialing

and medical executive committees, to improve communication and

patient care.

Participate in teaching and

mentoring medical students, APPs, and residents from Lincoln

Memorial University, fostering a culture of learning.

Engage in weekly group huddles to discuss

challenges, share updates, and ensure seamless collaboration across

the team.

Work within a structured program

divided into two daytime groups, with support from a dedicated

nocturnist for night coverage.
