Position Summary :
The Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons that meet academic standards and address the diverse needs of all students. The Teacher fosters a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes academic achievement, social-emotional growth, and lifelong learning skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles, abilities, and backgrounds.
- Assess student progress using formal and informal assessments and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Maintain accurate student records, grades, and documentation in accordance with school policies.
- Establish and maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages respect, responsibility, and collaboration.
- Communicate regularly with parents / guardians regarding student progress, needs, and achievements.
- Integrate technology and other resources to enhance student engagement and learning.
- Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administrators to promote student success.
- Uphold all school policies, state regulations, and professional ethical standards.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Education or related field (Masters preferred).Valid state teaching license or certification in relevant subject / grade level.Strong classroom management and instructional skills.Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.Commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning environment.Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching in [specific grade / subject].Training in differentiated instruction and evidence-based teaching strategies.Familiarity with educational technology tools and platforms.Working Conditions
