Director Of Cloud Security
Discover impactful work : As the Director of Cloud Security, you will own the cybersecurity strategy and roadmap execution across our multi-cloud ecosystem to further protect Thermo Fisher from a constantly evolving threat and vulnerability landscape.
A Day In The Life :
- Build and implement the enterprise-wide multi-cloud cybersecurity strategy, standardized frameworks, and technical solution roadmaps
- Lead teams of cloud security engineers spanning project, operational, and M&A activities
- Own the continuous growth and development of your team by setting annual priorities and goals
- Ensure alignment of cloud enforcement and governance activities across all business groups and key partners
- Validate proper maintenance and deployment of our security solutions and partner with infrastructure and business IT teams using the cloud as a platform

This leader will demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills to counteract a variety of threats facing Thermo Fisher. This includes a blend of strategic and tactical thinking to ensure the success of Thermo Fisher's multi-cloud cybersecurity program, while fostering collaboration across organizations to promote alignment.
Ensure documentation and processes are well defined so that engineered solutions are understood and repeatableCollect and report on capacity, enforcement, and project metrics on a regular cadenceResponsible for the adoption and success of our cloud security strategy, including new technologies, security stack saturation, incident response, and M&A supportEducation :
Bachelor's Degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering or other relevant fieldEquivalent work experience also acceptedExperience :
7+ years of related cybersecurity and architecture experience, particularly in multi-cloud security architecture, engineering, and identityFirm understanding of the intricacies of mergers and acquisitions and how to integrate into an enterprise ecosystemExcellent team development and leadership experience building and managing programs and annual operating plansKnowledge, Skills, Abilities :
Ability to explain technical details to business leadership with a focus on encouraging technical changes or investment where appropriateStrong problem-solving in both ambiguous and tactical situations with a bias for actionComprehensive knowledge of cloud security frameworks, incident response, and strategies for cyber-attack resilience and familiarity with threat actors and their latest tools, tactics, and techniquesStrong organizational and leadership capabilitiesBenefits :

The salary range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $176,000.00$234,700.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and / or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
