Job description

Our building services client is searching for a Territory Manager to run operations of one of their service divisions for Oregon and Washington. This is a fulltime role with excellent benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Ensure delivery of world class customer service to all clients while managing client relations, new job startups / transitions of new accounts, and employee relations.
  • Manage day to day operations of the branch, coaching, developing and guiding the branch team to perform efficiently and effectively.
  • Implement and monitor ongoing compliance with all company-wide programs such as licensing, investigations (employee and general liability / auto), employee benefit programs, office procedures, vehicle patrol policies, employee coaching / discipline.
  • Responsible for branch profitability, overseeing control of all financial impacts to the branch, including daily and weekly unbilled overtime and training expenses.
  • Assist the Senior Vice President in planning on both a short-term and long-term basis, for future operational growth and expansion.
  • Direct and administer the core security operation of the branch, providing guidance and support on all operational issues related to client relations (payroll and billing resolution, recruiting and hiring, service issues, etc.)
  • Responsible for Fire / Life Safety issues at all customer and patrol locations, and direct the implementation of such programs, utilizing corporate resources where applicable.
  • Oversee and manage operational, financial functions including payroll, billing, accounts receivable, scheduling, recruiting, training, etc. for the region.
  • Generate new business through partnership with Business Development Manager
  • Serve as client point-of-contact for day-to-day site issues, and expeditiously and proactively identify, address, and resolve client needs.
  • Conduct walk-throughs with clients and other company representatives as appropriate.
  • Work closely with Supervisor(s) and staff to ensure all services are performed according to contract specifications, on budget, according to schedule and with a high standard of quality.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills; develop morale and recognize employee achievements; foster opportunities for professional development of employees.
  • Analyze and understand cost reports and budget variances related to contract projects.
  • Constantly promote and encourage adherence to company policies and best practices.
  • Day-to-day will include closing and managing new business relationships within a regional territory via a mix of inbound and outbound prospecting efforts.
  • Develops and implements market plans that include customer analysis, competitive insights, growth opportunities, and revenue goals.
  • Planning and executing strategic growth strategies.
  • Manage and implement strategic sales plans and is accountable to deliver on KPIs, ensuring client is well-positioned among its competitors, and leverages its position in the marketplace.
  • Lead the customer relationship at the enterprise level involving procurement and C- Suite executive level engagement.
  • Represent client at industry, community marketing and promotional events, expos, and industry conferences. To include public speaking, participation, coordination, and activation.
  • Identify key influencers and decision makers within customer organization.
  • Build a business development pipeline by engaging with key prospects and current customers to ensure revenue growth.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Energetic and focused personality with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines.
  • Dedication to high quality customer service delivery and integrity through proven client and customer relationships
  • Proficient in web-based applications, computer systems and programs (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint), to effectively edit and create reports, database entries and presentation materials.
  • Highly effective leader with the ability to build strong relationships internally with all levels of the organization and manage under difficult service delivery timeframes.
  • Willingness to attend professional networking or community events in the evenings.
  • Work with all levels in the organization to identify, analyze and solve problems and create opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information and data
  • Proven track record of excellence in customer service and financial management (awards, top rankings, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment while focused on results.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Meet with Key Accounts on a Weekly Basis
  • Strictly monitor and enforce operating budget.
  • Implement cost-cutting measures.
  • Establish and maintain excellent communication with a diverse client base.
  • Perform weekly site inspections to ensure contract scope of work is being met and fulfilled.
  • Immediately address client complaints and work towards resolution.
  • Seek new revenue sources with existing client base.
  • Work closely with customer service and senior executives.
