Job Opening : Upholstery / Production Supervisor

We are seeking an Upholstery / Production Supervisor to lead the daily operations of the upholstery department. This role combines hands-on upholstery expertise with strong leadership to ensure production schedules are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee and manage daily upholstery production schedules.

Lead, train, and mentor a team of upholsterers and production staff.

Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and efficient workflows.

Manage resources, materials, and inventory in coordination with other departments.

Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Troubleshoot production issues and communicate progress to management.

Coordinate equipment maintenance to minimize downtime.

Qualifications :

Proven experience in upholstery and furniture manufacturing, with prior supervisory experience.

Strong technical knowledge of upholstery techniques, tools, and materials.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.

Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards and basic computer proficiency.
