Lincoln Electric is looking for bright, driven individuals to join our Technical Sales Development Programdesigned to connect your academic foundation with real-world, hands-on experience. As a participant, you'll be the Linc between your education and a future in advanced manufacturing, innovation, and leadership.

The Technical Sales Trainee Program offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, technology-driven sales environment in preparation to become a full-time Technical Sales Representative. During this 16-week training program at Lincoln Electric's World Headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio, Technical Sales Trainees will develop welding skills in all processes, build comprehensive product knowledge, and learn to excel in a dynamic sales environment. Following the training program, our Technical Sales Representatives will relocate to their respective territories across the country. Here, they will actively manage and grow a $10+ million territory by driving corporate and regional strategic initiatives, navigating distributor relationships to grow discretionary sales, and promoting their own target programs to increase market share.

Potential projects include participating in a documented cost reduction project with Lincoln Electric's end users to understand value selling in a competitive landscape, providing technical support, demonstrations, and training where needed, driving corporate and regional strategic initiatives with a focus on growing top line, alloy, automation, and high technology products, developing strategies to grow business with key distribution partners within the territory, providing end-user training support and promoting all Lincoln products with a special focus on automation products at these customers, and driving educational programs to all major schools and unions to increase product share and visibility in educational facilities and total sales.

Basic qualifications include pursuing or having achieved a bachelor's degree in a STEM or business field by June 2026, and eligible to work in the U.S. on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship. Preferred qualifications include a degree in any of the following disciplines: business administration, marketing, engineering, communication, or any related fields, minimum overall GPA of 2.8, willingness to relocate to Cleveland for the Trainee Program and open to relocation upon program completion, interest in sales, technical/field service, and customer support, and willingness to collaborate across departments (engineering, product management, and sales).
