Job description

Labor Finders is looking for a certified forklift operator for a manufacturing plant in LANETT, ALABAMA Key Responsibilities Operate Forklifts :

  • Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse or industrial site.

Inventory Management :

  • Assist in managing inventory by tracking the movement of goods and conducting regular inventory checks.

    • Safety Compliance :

  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

    • Load Handling :

  • Efficiently load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring that loads are balanced and secure before moving.

    • Equipment Maintenance :

  • Perform routine checks and maintenance on forklifts and other warehouse equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.   Required Skills and Qualifications Experience :  Prior experience operating forklifts or similar industrial vehicles is preferred.

    • Certification :

  • A valid forklift operator certification is required.

    • Physical Fitness :

  • Good physical condition to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and moving heavy materials.

    • Attention to Detail :

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure safe handling of materials and compliance with safety standards.

    • Communication Skills :

  • Good written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues.
