Summary :

The Physician provides direct medical services to students and staff at FLETC training sites. This role supports the health and readiness of law enforcement trainees and personnel by delivering high-quality, compliant care and ensuring proper documentation and coordination for occupational health incidents.

There will be one Physician assigned to each FLETC site : Artesia, Charleston, and Glynco.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions :

• Provide equal access to care for staff members in "student" status, verifying training program / class name and number
• Prescribe medications listed in Part 9, Attachment X - Prescriptions for Common Ailments
• Advise students that prescriptions not listed in Attachment X must be filled off-site at their own expense
• Ensure medications listed in Attachment X are stocked at all times with appropriate reorder points
• Educate patients on procedures for work-related injuries and illnesses, including :

Completion of the TAIRS electronic questionnaire
