What You'll Do

• Perform and document accurate clinical assessments of patients on admission and throughout their stay.
• Identify actual and potential problems for which the patient is at risk.
• Initiate, follow, and modify a nursing plan of care based on assessment and diagnosis.
• Encourage patient / family participation in the discharge process and informed decision-making.
• Coordinate medications safely and optimally.
• Respond optimally to patient crisis situations as outlined in unit-specific standards.
• Participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions regarding patient care.
• Mentor and share clinical knowledge with other team members.
