Internal Medicine Physician (Poughkeepsie)

Responsibilities

• Assist in scheduling and provide medical coverage at such facilities of the Practice as designated by the Practice from time to time.
• Cooperate with the Practices designees to ensure that operations are consistent with the Practices medical policies and professional standards.
• Cooperate and participate in the development, implementation and revision of policies affecting medical practice and the quality of health care rendered by the Practice.
• Participate in and assist with in-service and continuing education programs for physicians, nurses, and other personnel employed by or associated with the Practice.
• Cooperate in the completion of any necessary forms and contracts for third-party reimbursement or other purposes.
• Prepare and maintain legible, orderly and clinically complete medical records as required by the Practice, and / or any applicable laws, ordinances, standards of medical practice, risk management or quality assurance programs, or as required by external accreditation organizations.
• Convey compassion and concern for the patients problems and dedication to alleviating those problems and to providing comfort and care to those in need.
• Attend professional conventions and postgraduate seminars and participate in professional societies so far as is reasonable and practical.
• Perform all CME requirements reasonably desirable to maintain and improve your professional skills.
