Emergency Medicine Opportunity to Join an Expanding Practice

Wake Emergency Physicians, PA (WEPPA) is an independent Emergency Medicine group located in central North Carolina.  It is owned and managed by working emergency medicine physicians, including our board of directors, managing partner, and group president.  Our physicians also serve as medical directors at each facility that we staff.

Originally incorporated in 1992, WEPPA has expanded to where it currently staffs six different hospital systems and 14 EDs around the Triangle area of North Carolina, with a diverse roster of more than 150 physicians and 125 APPs. We also have a full administrative staff that allows our providers to focus on patient care.  Guided by a commitment to quality and patient safety, we are always working to improve the services we offer to our patients and hospital partners.

We currently have contracts with six hospital systems :

• WakeMed Health and Hospital System
• UNC Health Johnston
• UNC Health Nash
• UNC Health Wayne
• UNC Health Lenoir
• Granville Health System

We are happy to announce that due to recent expansion, WEPPA is recruiting for select positions throughout our practice.  We are currently hiring Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our group at WEPPA Lenoir located in Kinston, North Carolina.  We are also hiring Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) Physicians to join our dedicated team of physicians providing excellent care at the Childrens Emergency Department located at WakeMed Health and Hospital system in Raleigh.
