Physician - Emergency Medicine

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is a leading group of over 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., exclusively caring for Kaiser Permanente patients. We invite applications for a full-time specialist in Emergency Medicine at our Largo Medical Center.

What You Can Expect:

• This position is listed as a 0.8FTE, which is the equivalent of 32 hours per week and is reflected in the salary listed below
• Non-Traditional Emergency Medicine Opportunities
• Advanced Urgent Care or Urgent Care settings
• Collaborative mixed-specialty department, comprised of emergency medicine, family medicine, and hospitalist physicians working together and learning from each other
• Provide high-quality, patient-focused care in a dynamic clinical setting, including overnights, holidays, and on-call duty while supported by a team culture that values flexibility, well-being, and sustainable work-life integration
• Differential pay for physicians working all nights or all weekends
• Direct patient care
• Observation Units staffed by our hospitalist teams
• 8-9-10 hour shifts
• No Behavioral Health Observation

Minimum Requirements:

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia

The starting annual salary for this position is $296,000 which considers an applicants skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
