Pay Rate : $25–$30 per hour (W2)

Contract Duration : 1 Year

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Site Operations & Front Desk Coordinator to join our team in San Diego. This dual-role position is key to maintaining the smooth day-to-day operations of our site while also serving as the welcoming face of the company at our front desk. You will support multiple functions including Facilities, EHS, Security, and Warehouse Operations—all while ensuring a high standard of professionalism and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in visitors, clients, vendors, and candidates
  • Coordinate site access badges and manage building security systems
  • Serve as liaison for facilities vendors and property management
  • Assist with mail distribution and office supply inventory
  • Support site equipment maintenance and EHS compliance activities
  • Schedule meetings, site events, and catering as needed
  • Maintain department documentation and tools (e.g. SharePoint, Office Space)
  • Support emergency communications and site safety programs
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of front lobby and storage areas

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience in biotech, pharma, or similar industries preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across departments
  • Ability to provide occasional after-hours support when needed
  • A professional, service-oriented attitude and strong attention to detail
  • Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Experience with general office equipment and tools
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn : SharePoint, iLobby, Brivo, Office Space, Alert Media, Eagle Eye, Zoom
