Job description

Job Title : CT Technician

Location : Minneapolis, MN

Duration : 3 months with possible extension

Shift : Days

Schedule Notes : We have some 8, 10 and 12 shifts, can talk about it on the interview. Hours of operation for the clinic is 6 : 15am to 7pm.

“State license is not mandatory”

Local Payrate : $72 / hr

Travel Pay Rate :

Overall Weekly Pay Rate : $3,040

Hourly Pay Rate on W2 : $41.80

Weekly Stipend : $1,368

Requirements :

  • At least one year CT tech experience is required.
  • ARRT License is required.

Job Summary :

  • The CT Technologist operates computerized tomography (CT) to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatments of pathologies.
  • This role elects appropriate imaging techniques, operates console, and peripheral hardware.
  • The person in this position is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of patient care.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Performs CT exams per physician orders or as advised by radiologist.
  • Works alongside other health team providers including physicians, residents, fellow, nurses, radiologists, and other ancillary staff to provide effective, efficient quality service / care and follow standard protocols to complement interpretation and diagnosis.
  • Reports statistically significant findings to radiologists / residents / referring physicians as necessary to patient care.
  • Demonstrates ability to provide applicable care / service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level of population served.
  • Modifies and individualizes care / service plan to meet patient / customer needs.
  • Provides patient / employee education based on assessment of learning needs of learner.
