As the only organization overseeing California’s $20+ billion surplus lines insurance marketplace, we help support coverage availability for businesses—from film studios to freight haulers—when risks are too complex, too large or too unique for the standard market.

    Position Overview :

    We are looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and strategic Salesforce Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements, identifying process improvement opportunities, and ensuring that Salesforce implementations align with organizational goals and deliver measurable business value.

    The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for leveraging technology to drive business success. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including membership services, marketing, and IT—to optimize workflows, enhance user experience, and support data-driven decision-making.

    Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into functional Salesforce solutions.
  • Create and maintain user stories, process flows, and data models.
  • Work closely with Salesforce developers and administrators to implement enhancements.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and support training efforts.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Qualifications :

  • Must be a California resident.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and / or Marketing Cloud Account Engagement.
  • Experience with Salesforce reporting, dashboards, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Salesforce Certified Business Analyst.
  • Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Associate) are a plus.
  • Experience in the Insurance industry or Financial Services is a plus.
