Job descriptionExperience with SAP. Prior utility industry experience. Prior large construction project experience. Develop detailed and complex project plans, including work breakdown structures to support activity scheduling. Prepare cost estimates and project summary reports, including tables and graphs of earned value metrics. Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions to Project Managers. Collaborate with corporate offices on cost, budget, and procurement issues to ensure timely resolution. Create and maintain project schedules in Primavera and establish project structures in SAP. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure department performance and identify improvement areas. Analyze project cost data and variances in SAP, recommending necessary adjustments. Research, evaluate, and develop creative solutions for complex scheduling and process challenges. Apply advanced scheduling logic, including constraints, lag / lead relationships, float management, and critical path methodology. Generate and analyze ad hoc project control reports for management and stakeholders. Provide leadership and mentoring to associate-level team members, acting as a key knowledge resource. Advise Project Managers and stakeholders on milestone tracking and project performance. Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 5 years of project controls experience. Proficiency in Primavera scheduling software. Experience with project life cycles and reporting on project performance. Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills with the ability to influence project decisions. Knowledge of the utility industry. CPM certification. Salary : $48-$60 Hourly
Requirements :
- Full-time position (40 hours per week), in-person at the Lloyd Center Tower in Portland, Oregon.
- Base work schedule : MondayFriday, 8-hour days (either 7 : 00AM4 : 00PM or 8 : 00AM5 : 00PM) with a 1-hour lunch.
- Alternative work schedules may be discussed.
