The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Trainers / HR Drivers for Yellowstone General Stores in West Yellowstone, Montana.  In this dual role the driver will transport team members safely in non-CDL vehicles, when performing the duties as the trainers  you will organize and lead training sessions, assist supervisors, and monitor trainee progress.     • What will you do?

  • Transport team members in a safe manner.
  • Picking up team members in the early morning hours from great distances
  • Ensure that proper maintenance is performed on the van and report any mechanical or safety problems to management.
  • Follow regularly assigned routes and schedules.
  • Work with the team and help plan daily team member driving activities.
  • Maintains accurate record-keeping of passenger census.
  • Report any incidents or accidents to management immediately.
  • Maintain a safe atmosphere on the vehicle at all times.
  • Learn all training modules to effectively train incoming associates.
  • Lead training sessions for all associates, be able to recognize when additional support and training is required, and be able to adapt your training style to help the associate better understand.
  • Assist in train-the-trainer for store supervisory team members for on-site module completion.
  • Track the completion of trainings and provide updates to our compliance team.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to safely operate and drive a van.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written communication.
  • Good planning and organization skills.
  • Ability to maintain a safe atmosphere on the vehicle at all times.
  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical.

    • Physical requirements

  • Vision must be sufficient that the driver is not restricted in the performance of duties day or night.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods.
  • Must be able to stand and bend.
  • Must be able to hear traffic and security radio.
  • Must be able to lift and maneuver luggage averaging 50 pounds.
