Surgical Technologist I - General Specialty Evening Shift

We are looking for a dedicated Surgical Technologist I for our dynamic General Specialty team. As part of one of the largest hospitals in Wisconsin, Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to work in a 24 / 7 on-site heart-care facility, providing exceptional surgical care to our patients.

Position Overview :

This full-time position operates during the evening shift and involves both 8 or 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with on-call responsibilities during nights and weekends. Location : Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215.

Major Responsibilities Include :

• Creating and maintaining a sterile working environment for optimal patient care.
• Utilizing aseptic techniques for surgical procedures, including setting up sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Assisting surgeons by anticipating their needs and providing necessary instruments during procedures.
• Transporting patients and preparing the surgical area efficiently.
• Maintaining a specialty cart, ensuring all equipment is operational and sterile.
• Demonstrating knowledge of procedures and performing duties with attention to detail.
