Position Overview

We are seeking a General Manager - Manufacturing Operations (Primary / Hot Rolling) to lead manufacturing operations at our Latrobe, PA facility . This high-impact role oversees key production areas, including Melting, Press, and Continuous Rolling Mill, and is responsible for delivering results in safety, quality, delivery, and cost . This is a critical leadership position backfilling a promotion and offers the opportunity to shape the culture and operational performance of the plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the activities of multiple manufacturing departments and approximately 170 plant personnel.
• Directly supervise and develop area department managers.
• Drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, cost, and operational performance.
• Establish a culture of accountability, engagement, and collaboration from leadership to hourly staff.
• Partner with HR and EHS to support positive employee relations and maintain a safe, compliant work environment.
• Manage budgets and performance metrics; align resources with production goals.
• Support and enforce corporate initiatives, policies, and safety standards, including OSHA compliance.
