Accounting Clerk – Manufacturing Environment

Location : Rancho Dominguez, CA | Full-Time | On-Site

Robert Half is working with a leading manufacturing company in Rancho Dominguez, CA, that is seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Accounting Clerk . This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to a full range of accounting operations in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to maintain financial accuracy
  • Prepare and post journal entries to keep accounting records current
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures
  • Maintain and organize financial records and supporting documentation
  • Support the Controller and broader accounting team with daily and special projects
  • Use accounting systems such as QuickBooks to enter and manage financial data
  • Assist with invoice processing, payment schedules, and data entry tasks
  • Perform basic administrative functions related to finance and accounting

Qualifications :

  • 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environment is a plus
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
  • Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
