About The Position

Job description :

Position :  RN Behavioral Health

Location :  Manchester, CT

Shift Timing :   Night 5x8-Hour (7 pm - 7 am)

Pay Range :   $50 / hr - $65 / hr

Hours per day :   12 hours

Hours per week :  36

Weekend Coverage : Every Other Weekend

Start date : 11 / 24 / 2025

(13 Weeks) Contract with possible Extension

Position Summary :   We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with strong experience in Behavioral Health and Psychiatric Care. Skilled in assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients with mental health and substance use disorders.

Descriptions :

Local Radius Rule : Candidates are considered local within 75 miles from the facility

Years of Experience 1.5 Years .Unit Accepts First Time Travelers

Weekend Coverage : Every Other Weekend

Behavioral Health RN - 8 hours Nights - 1.5 yrs - 1st Timers OK

Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and monitor patients’ emotional, behavioral, and physical conditions
• Administer and monitor psychotropic and routine medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence and documenting effects.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation during psychiatric or behavioral emergencies to maintain a safe environment.

Certificate -  RN CT state or Compact License

Charting System : Required, Meditech

Experience Required -  2 YR RN (Behavioral Health)

AHA - BLS -  Required
