American Traveler is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a travel job in Albequerque, New Mexico.

Job Description

American Traveler seeks a Physical Therapist for a weekday outpatient assignment with New Mexico licensure and BCLS.

Responsibilities

  • Outpatient physical therapy setting
  • Monday to Friday schedule, 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm with a one-hour lunch
  • Day shifts only, no weekends required
  • Maximum caseload of 8 patients per day with hour-long treatments
  • Patients receive one-on-one care in hourly sessions
  • Will train on Epic EMR; Epic experience preferred but not required
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Travelers may be required to float and will receive brief orientation to each unit
  • Modules will be completed onsite during orientation and are tracked by transcripts
  • Former permanent staff must be gone at least one year before returning as a traveler
  • No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
  • No travel pairs or groups permitted
  • No more than 3 days of requested time off will be auto-approved and no time off is permitted during the first week of orientation

    • Requirements

  • Current New Mexico PT license or Compact PT license required; pending license accepted
  • Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required
  • Current BCLS certification required
  • Professional dress code with closed toe shoes; scrubs not required
  • Ability to float to similar units within scope as needed
  • License required if applicable
