Pediatric Hospitalist Physician

Coverage Needed :

• Start Date : February 1, 2026
• End Date : Ongoing
• Schedule : 24-hour call, 6am-6am (not required to be in-house)
• Specific Dates :

1 / 1-18 6am

2 / 1-14 6am

3 / 1-15 6am

Clinical Details :

Average Census : Well babies 1-5 (up to 6-7), NICU 0-5 (usually 1-3), Peds 0-1 (usually zero)

Call : Beeper, 20-30 minutes response time

EMR : Epic

Inpatient setting

Requirements :

NRP, PALS

Clean files - Preferred

Required Skills / Procedures : Neonatal airway management including intubation, Management of neonatal air leak / pneumothorax including needle decompression, Emergent UVC placement (delivery room), UVC / UAC placement, Lumbar puncture, EKG interpretation

Preferred Skills / Procedures : Ventilator management, Chest tube insertion (neonates)

Case Logs : All specialties require 2 years of current Hospital clinical activity in the specialty

Gaps greater than 3 months must be explained

Active CA License

Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency
