Manager Language Access
This position is responsible for the operations and people leadership of the Language Access Services Department in collaboration with the director, and functions as the department's EPIC subject matter expert. The incumbent is responsible for leading the team of interpreters and translators to provide the highest quality language services to inpatient and outpatient areas. The incumbent works with the director and senior leaders to develop and execute strategies and goals of the department and system. The incumbent establishes and ensures compliance with standards of care of regulatory bodies and system policies; monitors and analyzes financials to ensure meeting or exceeding budgetary performance goals; collaborates and participates with EPIC initiatives and committees, collaborates with other clinical and non-clinical teams, physicians, and leaders; and focuses on providing excellent customer service to patients, families and clinical staff.
