Hospitalist opening in NE Located in Hastings, NEFull-Time & Permanent About the Position Seeking two Hospitalists to join growing hospitalist program. 12 hour shifts, with an average of 16 shifts a month. Average census is 14 patients per day. Consulting staff include Pulmonology / Intensivist physicians, Interventional Cardiology, Infectious Disease, Nephrology, Neurology, and General Surgery.Interested Internists or Internal Medicine / Peds physicians welcome; board eligible or board certification is required. Competitive salary and benefit package.-Providing general medical care to hospitalized patients.-Diagnosing and treating various illnesses and diseases within the hospital setting.-Examining patients upon admission and coordinating their care throughout their stay.-Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, lab work, and X-rays.-Communicating with patients' primary care doctors and following up after discharge.-Managing inpatient treatment schedules and coordinating with other healthcare providers.-Maintaining medical records and ensuring accurate documentation of patient care.-Serving as a point of contact for hospital staff and patients' families.
