Line Of Business : Financial Crime Risk Management
Department Overview
FCRM Investigations is responsible for investigations of complex anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism finance, and insider risk matters resulting from law enforcement referrals, proactive initiatives, 314a / 314b, and internal referrals. The Financial Crime Risk Senior Investigator conducts complex investigations into potential money laundering, terrorist financing, and other financial crimes, including insider-risk matters. This role requires a deep understanding of AML regulations, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Our team currently operates under a hybrid work model, with employees expected to work in the office two days per week. Starting in November, this expectation will increase to four days per week. Please note that, due to limited office space, the exact timing of this transition may vary depending on availability and individual circumstances.
Depth & Scope
- Investigate criminal cases ranging from simple to complex in nature
- Sound knowledge of bank products, systems, policies and procedures
- Strong knowledge of criminal investigative techniques, related laws governing collection of evidence, court proceedings and financial / criminal trends
- Manages programs / projects / initiatives of low to moderate scope and complexity
- Expert level professional role requiring in-depth knowledge / expertise in own field of specialty and working knowledge of broader related areas

Education & Experience
Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience 5+ years of experience
Preferred Skills :
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Criminal Justice, or a related field, preferred.Relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS, CFE).Strong knowledge of financial crime typologies and AML regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USA PATRIOT Act, and OFAC requirementsExperience leading or supporting investigative projects; strong project management skills a plus.Experience leveraging data analytics to identify trends, anomalies, or support investigative findings related to financial crimes.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of integrity and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.Customer Accountabilities
