Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing projects related to maintaining, operating, and upgrading / modifying electrical infrastructure. They review infrastructure and building systems, including electrical systems and infrastructure ranging from high-voltage distribution systems to low-voltage control systems. They should be able to make quality assurance checks to ensure that electrical and facility construction projects are completed to the highest standard.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex capital projects supporting unique administrative, educational, research, and recreational facilities
- Support all pre-planning activities, including capital project planning, organizational and community approve,l and progression of the project execution
- Manage all aspects of project execution to include acquiring design and construction services, project schedules and budgets
- Stay compliant with all NFPA 101, IBC, ASHRAE, Texas Accessibility Standards, and the Americans with Disabilities Act and other specialty codes
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with five or more years of experienceProfessional Engineering Registration in Texas or the ability to obtain within one yearExperience is in REVIT, ETAP, SKM-Powertools, and other relevant electrical software.Five years of management of design and construction activities for manufacturing, power generation plants, or distribution utilities.Strong problem-solving, technical, and knowledge of all relevant codes, regulations and policiesPrefer LEED-AP, Certified Energy Manager, or PMPStrong written and verbal communication skills
