Role Summary
Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join their growing team. In this role, you will work under the guidance of a Physical Therapist to provide restorative and rehabilitative care that helps patients achieve greater independence, safety, and quality of life. By working closely with other members of the care team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day, both in the clinic and in patients’ homes.
Setting : Out Patient Clinic
Population : Geriatric population
Duties
Administer patient treatment programs as established by the Physical Therapist.
Assist with obtaining vital signs, range of motion, and strength testing.
Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to implement individualized treatment plans.
Coordinate scheduling for patient treatments, clinical visits, and related billing.
Deliver and document physical therapy interventions, including active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait training, functional ADL training, and therapeutic treatments such as massage, heat, sound, water, light, or electrical stimulation.
Provide support in end-of-life care coordination as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license (or proof of license eligibility) in the state of practice.
Degrees earned outside the U.S. must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency in Physical Therapy Assistant studies.
At least 1–2 years of experience as a PTA in a clinical setting; experience with frail or elderly populations preferred.

Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling scheduling and documentation efficiently.
