General Summary
Directs a comprehensive hardware product strategy from product conception and definition through end of life. Functions as a central resource with design, process, manufacturing, quality, test, marketing, and distribution as the product(s) and / or product line(s) move through their life‑cycle. Formulates and executes long‑term road‑maps for cost / profit control, promotes new technologies and industry trends, and leads the design, modification, and evaluation of product(s) throughout all life‑cycle stages.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute hardware product strategy and long‑term road‑maps.
Coordinate cross‑functional teams across design, manufacturing, quality, test, marketing, and distribution.
Oversee product definition, modification, upgrades, and maintenance.
Control cost and profit through effective product management.
Promote adoption of emerging technologies and industry‑leading trends.
Qualifications
Project methodology expertise.
Experience working within a fast‑paced, dynamic marketing organization.
Cellular phone hardware system knowledge.
Understanding of handset RF subsystem and baseband peripherals and interfaces.
8 years handset analog design experience preferred.
Team player with a "can do" attitude.
Detail oriented, strong problem‑solving skills.
Interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to evaluate and analyze objectively.
Excellent communication, language, writing, and editing skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently while collaborating cross‑functionally.

8+ years of experience working on or supporting design and development of hardware platforms.
8+ years of product management or related experience.
Capacity to adapt to evolving environments.
Experience with development and production of mobile platforms.
Understanding of cellular technologies and standards.
Experience managing change in a deadline‑based environment.
Ability to communicate, educate, evangelize internally and externally.
Demonstrated leadership skills with cross‑functional teams.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
8+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
15+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
4+ years working in a large matrixed organization.
2+ years working with operating budgets and / or project financials.
2+ years negotiating third‑party business agreements.
Pay Range and Other Compensation & Benefits
$196,000.00 – $294,000.00.
Salary is one component of total compensation. Additional compensation includes a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunities for annual RSU grants. Benefits support success at work, at home, and at play.
