We're looking for an Administrative Coordinator 3 to serve as the first point of contact at the agency, creating a welcoming environment for clients, patients, and visitors and providing administrative support that keeps our front office running smoothly.

    Two years of experience in administrative services.

    EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION :

    Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

    Job Duties and Other Information

    Job Duties :

  • Maintains a person centered, recovery orientation to clients regarding their initial paperwork, appointments, attentive to client engagement and readiness to service.
  • Determines the appropriate clinical staff to bring urgent life-threatening situations to the attention of and assures assistance is initiated.
  • Serves as primary fee assessor for the clinic. Explains payment / financial policies to people served and answers any questions.
  • Enters relevant information into the record.
  • Manage client portal accounts within the electronic health record including reminders, messages, appointment requests and documents.
  • Responsible for understanding 3rdparty payer process related to verification, authorization and reauthorization as well as client's responsibility and collections.
  • Work with the insurance and billing department to actively manage 3rdparty payor clients to ensure quality client care and fiscal responsibility, as appropriate.
  • Position-Specific Details :

    Appointment Type : Temporary Job Appointment. This position may be filled by temporary job appointment not to exceed 48 months.

    Location : This vacancy is located at Central Louisiana Human Services District. This announcement serves to fill vacancy in our Caring Choices Clinic in Alexandria and Jonesville.

    Compensation : Administrative Coordinator 3 (pay grade level AS-609) has a minimum salary of $13.77 / hourly; $1,101.60 / bi-weekly.
