TPSS Co-op general application

• Greet customers, smiling and making eye contact.
• Check out customer purchases quickly and accurately, using the correct prices and departments.
• Verify price tags are present for all products in the department.
• Rotate older stock to the front, making space for new stock.
• Pull short-date or low-quality items and follow established procedures for recording and disposing.
• Stock displays fully without overcrowding; face items on shelves.
• Assist customers with product questions promptly, friendly, and courteously, referring them to other staff when necessary.
• Clean up spills, remove trash promptly, and sweep and mop the floor.
• Answer and route phone calls, and take and route messages as needed.
• Inform appropriate individuals of pricing errors, PLU errors, and unpriced items.
• Assist various departments when needed.
• Available to work any day of the week and anytime, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Other duties as assigned.
