A correctional facility is seeking a family medicine physician for locum tenens coverage.
About the Facility Location
The facility is located about 40 mins north of Las Vegas, NV.
About the Clinician's Workday
This role is Monday-Friday (5x8s or 4x10s) with optional 24-hour call about once a month. The caseload is 16-20 adult male patients daily, with bread-and-butter procedures preferred, including suturing. Candidates need a Nevada license, BLS, and DEA, with FM / IM BC or BE preferred. Youll work with the Medical Director and a strong NP / nursing team. Credentialing takes about two weeks with standard screenings; COVID vaccination is not required.
