As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a utilities location. Your role will involve interacting with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service, and communicating clearly to support a secure environment. This position requires a valid driver's license as you may be responsible for driving as part of your patrol duties. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeThur 10 : 30 PM - 06 : 30 AM

Fri 10 : 30 PM - 06 : 30 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
  • Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Document all patrols, observations, and incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist visitors and employees with directions or information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols as directed by Allied Universal and the client site leadership.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
