HAZWOPER Laborer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Perform soil remediation tasks and handle hazardous materials.
• Operate and maintain equipment, ensuring daily inspections.
• Participate in tailgate meetings and follow safety protocols.
• Maintain daily logs and assist in material handling.
• Control dust, direct traffic, and ensure site safety.
• Spot operators, identify utilities, and use hand-held equipment.
• Maintain site cleanliness and secure excavation areas.
• Install and maintain SWPPP measures.
• Communicate with crew members and maintain truck logs.
• Perform excavation, backfill, compaction, and trench work.
• Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
